"Shanti" Restaurant
Shanti in Sanskrit means peace. The restaurant is located by the riverside and overlooks the lush green paddy fields. At the entrance of the restaurant you will be greeted by the statues of lions. The lions are believed to be mythological characters who are the protectors and guardians and you will find that in this typical Balinese architecture specifically in the temples. The decor is a combination of traditional and antiques, its open design, intended to allow you to be closer to nature. The restaurant is situated at a height, you can witness the ecological cycle of a paddy field which unfolds daily and eternally fascinating. If you are early enough, you may be able to catch the local villagers in action with drums and hooting to scare the birds away from their paddy fields. Couple of flights down the restaurant leads you to a Hindu temple right next to the river. The whiff of incense offered in prayer to the Gods fills the morning air bringing perfect peace and tranquility to your mind. When you dine in this restaurant, you not only nourish your body but your mind. This restaurant also has a pool which is perfect for an outdoor poolside party or functions. Shanti serves Indonesian and international cuisines, with a good selection of wine and cocktail drinks. |

Swimming Pool
A 12.5 m swimming pool is located at the centre of the resort with lined with green natural slate. The pool over looks the river, playful bamboo trees, surrounded by sun loungers and a natural Balinese garden. You can choose to dip in the cool waters of the pool or just lie on the sun loungers and soak up the sun. |

"Sanskriti"
The Gallery Opposite Swagat, there is a small art gallery named Sanskriti which means culture in Sanskrit. Sanskriti displays a collection of early Indonesian antiques with an objective of introducing to our customers certain aspects of Indonesian culture. The emphasis is on wooden antiques mainly from the island of Java. At the entrance you will be greeted by a beautiful multicolored wooden statue of a graceful Balinese dancer. This statue has managed to capture the exquisite posture and expression of a girl performing Balinese dance. Just under the ceiling above the entrance of Sanskriti there is the plough used for bull racing. This is from the island of Madura which is near the central Java and famous for bull racing. Inside the gallery you will see a majestic wooden long chair which once belonged to a king in East Java. This furniture is adorned with intrinsic carvings highlighted by the use of multiple colors mostly gold, giving it a royal appearance. To the right of the chair, you will see a cupboard which is made in typically Maduranese style. This piece is also adorned with beautiful colorful intrinsic carvings which gives it a cheerful and fresh look. This cupboard is meant for storage of personal items like the weapons or clothes in older days. You will also find a wooden boat shaped low structure standing on four legs. This is called Dakon in Javanese language, has depressions on the top surface and was used as an indoor game in olden times. Sea shells or pebbles were used to play on the Dakon. The exterior of this Dakon has beautiful intrinsic multi colored intrinsic painting.

The tranquil environment at the villa is perfect place for catching up on reading or watching your favorite movie which you may not have had the time to do for a while. To take care of this need of our Customers, we have provided a small library, which is located next to Sanskriti from where you can borrow books and DVDs.

Enjoy a private performance of traditional Bali dance in your own Villa. You are not only get to watch the exclusive performance but you can even learn the dance steps or play the TINGKLIK (Balinese Traditional Instrument) if you wish to.
